Although the weather did not cooperate, we celebrated our first Community Life Parish picnic in the SMA gym on Saturday, June 24th. It was a wonderful gathering of friends. Mayor Sarno stopped by to say hello. There were some beautiful raffle baskets that were handmade by committee members. We also raffled off 4 Red Sox tickets that were won by Mary & John Hosmer. Congratulations to them!  There were things for the children to enjoy such as crafts and games. Each child that attended was also gifted a toy. There were 190 tickets sold!  This picnic was another demonstration of our parish community's support. We plan to offer other events to continue building our parish community.  Please stay tuned.

 

We wish to thank Fr. Quynh, the chefs that spent several hours in the heat working over the hot grills and all the volunteers that made this event possible. We would also like to thank the staff of SMA that provided the venue.  We especially want to thank all those that attended the picnic and made it a success.
